The New Narellan Town Centre Expansion is well under way and is set to rival Western Sydney’s biggest Malls.

Mirage Doors is proud to be part of this exciting new development. Working with construction company Mainbrace Constructions Mirage Doors will supply it’s aluminium shopfront doors to major retailers such as Coles, Woolworths and Big W.

Mirage Doors recently the complete the shopfront entry door to the new R.M. Williams store in Castle Towers Shopping Centre – Castle Hill.

With German Supermarket chain “Aldi” currently rolling out there move into Western Australia market,  Mirage Doors has been involved in the supply and installation of  there Series 3 Aluminium Roller Shutter to front entrance of the store.

The German giant is planning to open 70 stores across Western Australia.

There are 16 sites in the metropolitan area that have been named, and most of those shops will be in the southern suburbs.

Mirage Doors has recently completed the supply and installation of Series 3 Aluminium Roller Shutters to the new Woolworths supermarket in Port Coogee Shopping Village Western Australia.

Working with Adco Constructions Western Australia office the $16.5 million development will provide local customers with a full range Woolworths supermarket and 14 specialty shops.

Mirage Doors have successfully completed a number of boutique door installations in 2016 at Mirvac’s Orion Shopping Centre Stage 2 at Springfield, between Brisbane and Ipswich in Qld.

The design brief called for glazed doors in lieu of traditional shopfront roller shutters to the centre’s many outdoor walkway promenades. Mirage’s Fiesta Folding Doors and SD300 Folding Closures figure prominently, as they offer a cost effective yet highly attractive alternative to traditional glazed shopfronts. All panels are stored away during trading hours, ensuring the widest open store frontage during trade.

National retail chains such as Just Jeans, Dotti, Smiggles, Jay Jay’s and Portmans were keen to incorporate Mirage’s products into their store design, and Mirage representatives engaged with the respective store designers to ensure a smooth incorporation of our products.

The installations supplement the work we completed in late 2015 for the major supermarket retailers such as Coles, Target & Liquorland.

Mirage Doors has recently completed the manufacture and installation of 3 no. counterweight doors at the Catalyst Church at Brassall in Ipswich. The building was on the site of an old foundry established over 100 years ago.

The modern building has retained original materials for re-use in conjunction with contemporary products, to promote both the origins of the site and provide a fresh aspect of the classic Queensland heritage architecture. The motorised fold up counterweight doors are part of an auditorium that is also used as a breezeway and function room.

The diversity of applications for Mirage counterweight doors continues to grow. Mirage counterweight doors feature in Qld. schools, government buildings, tertiary institutions, defence facilities, correctional centres, factories, warehouses, convention centres, sporting venues and now churches.

Group company Mirage Doors  has successfully completed a major project for Laing O’Rourke at the QR Wulkuraka Rail Maintenance Depot in Ipswich.

The depot is the largest of its’ type in Queensland and is designed to provide maintenance & service for the states’ electric train carriages. For the first time Mirage designed, engineered, manufactured and installed 14 no. insulated folding door systems, as well as providing 12 no. steel and aluminium roller shutters.

The folding doors typically span openings 4200mm wide x 6000mm high, are manually operated, are designed to meet local high wind conditions and are interfaced with the building security systems. The design combined local & overseas components, and manufacture took place in our local manufacturing facility at Carole Park, under the auspices of Laing O’Rourke’s QA system.

Prior to this project, all doors of this type were sourced from Europe. This project has further confirmed Mirage’s long established reputation for being able to collaborate with major contractors to help design a site specific product solution.

Group company Mirage Doors recently complete the new flagship Telstra store in the newly refurbished Westfield Shopping Centre Chatswood Sydney.

Mirage Doors supplied and installed it’s Sliding Aluminium Closure SD 300.

Mirage Doors has recently completed the supply and installation of two “Series 1” Aluminium Roller Shutters for the new Coles/McDonald’s in Guildford.

The shutters are electrically operated by tube motors which are concealed in the roller drum for a compact and neat appearance.
